Using the additional controls connected via the RS232 interface, 
frequency, volume, squelch and VOX can be adjusted from the KRT2 RC, as well as local settings and display adjustments.
A KRT2 transceiver must be used with this remote head unit, as the KRT2 transceiver is the main control unit.
